Clients may not use our services to send out multiple unsolicited e-mails. Nor may they send out multiple unsolicited e-mails advertising any content on our servers via other service or hosting providers.  Any client caught spamming will have their hosting account(s) terminated immediately.

FTP access must not be given to search engine optimisation companies.

Customers may only use email-autoresponders with the expressed permission of Island Webservices.  This includes automatic responses to email forms and use of the autoresponder facility built into the virtual server control panels.

Web sites remain the property of Island Webservices until paid for in full.  Island Webservices reserve the right to remove web sites of customers that are in default of payments.

Domain names are registered for two years paid in advance. Clients will have first refusal of the renewal of domains and will be warned well in advance of expiration dates.

Once paid for, clients can have complete control over their domains if they wish.  There is no charge to transfer domains away.

Clients have full access to user names and passwords for their domains.

Clients are welcome to upgrade their accounts with Island Webservices at any time. They will be given a full pro-rata refund of any unused months on the previous hosting agreement. This applies to upgrades only.

All web hosting accounts apart from streaming media packages are held for a minimum of 12 months, paid in advance. All initial charges must be made by credit or debit card in Pounds Sterling through this site unless by prior arrangement. Any additional charges may be paid via credit card, debit card or by cheques in pounds sterling.

Clients can transfer away domain names at any time at no charge although refunds will not be given.

Credit card details are collected via SSL secured servers and will not be transmitted via email at any time. Furthermore transactions taking place from this site will be processed through WorldPay or PayPal and Island Webservices will not receive credit card numbers.

All invoices must be paid within seven days of their receipt.  Island Webservices reserve the right to charge cumulative interest at 1% per week on outstanding amounts.

Charges for additional virtual servers and additional bandwidth will be payable monthly on receipt of invoice.

Bandwidth is defined as the amount of data transferred by FTP, the web and e-mail. Clients have full access to usage reports.

Island Webservices will not increase any prices without 4 weeks' warning. Bandwidth and reseller charges will not increase during any 12 month contract period.

Clients may not have pornographic or racially or religiously offensive material on their web sites. Clients may not break any laws in the United Kingdom, or in the country in which they are based, on our servers. If you have to ask you probably can not do it.

Any work carried out after the initial instructions will be charged at the hourly rate shown on the prices page.

Content on hosted web sites must be original. Copyrighted images, music, video, software or text must not be reproduced without the owner's permission.

Passwords must be kept secret and secure at all times.

This company accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage of any sort done to individuals, organisations, clubs, bodies or companies through use of its servers.

No proportion of functionality is guaranteed.

All prices are exclusive of VAT at 20%.
